I never thought of myself as a designer before the age of 30 until, in reflection, I noticed that in my jobs, I’ve always built things from scratch: lesson plans as a teacher, camp days as a director, and craft photography sessions as a photographer.

In short, I love to create.

I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area where I spent as much time as possible outside playing soccer, running on the beach, and camping with friends. As an adult, I love exploring and trying new things like living on a glacier in Alaska for two weeks, backpacking with my one year old daughter, scuba diving off the coast of Roatan, Honduras, road tripping the Great Ocean Highway in Australia, ice climbing Mt. Baker, and exploring Ireland and Italy.

As a professional photographer, I spent my first years as a lifestyle and documentary family photographer. As your wedding photographer, I learn about you and your partner in order to design your best day together. I capture the moments of your love and joy that express the unique connection between you and your partner. To me, portraits are a time to connect with your partner, so my directing style leaves you feeling comfortable, relaxed and free.
